WELCOME TO THE EL DORADO HILLS NEWCOMERS CLUB

“A Club with Heart”

The El Dorado Hills Newcomers Club is a women’s organization dedicated to welcoming residents and bringing them together in a friendly community. The Club was founded in 1968 with a mission of gathering residents who have a common interest in socializing and pursuing activities while exploring and supporting our community.

The people and the location make El Dorado Hills a great place to live. We are fortunate to be situated in a geographically beautiful county close to the wine country, the Sierras, and Lake Tahoe; and we enjoy some of the best climate in the country.

The “New” in Newcomers means you are looking for new friendships in El Dorado Hills. You might have just moved to the area for work or recently retired. Perhaps you’re an empty nester, single or married, or just looking for a way to connect with our warm and wonderful community. We welcome you whatever your situation may be.

Our Club meets for business and camaraderie at luncheons on the second Wednesday of each month at local restaurants and venues. Along with discussing Club business, the Luncheon allows members to catch up, socialize, and enjoy each other’s company.

Once you become a member you will receive a monthly Newsletter filled with pertinent information and links to our Website, along with messages from our Club President, Activities Director, and Welcome and Membership Directors.

Are you interested in small group activities? We have everything from a book club to Bunco, walking to wine gatherings, golfing to gourmet cooking, card games to crafting, and so much more! We truly believe there is something for everyone, but if not we’ll help you start a new Activity reflecting your interests and talents.

Our Events feature unique experiences scattered throughout the year for everyone to enjoy and may include such things as trips to wineries, theater events, bowling, or special themed parties with many surprises.

We say that EDH Newcomers is “A Club with Heart”. Not only do we care for our members and offer assistance when needed, but we also adopt a local charity to support through giving and volunteering to help ease their burden.

Send an email (edhncemail@gmail.com), be our guest at a Luncheon, or attend a Welcome Event where you can meet some of our members to see for yourself why we think we are a very special asset to the community.
